Tools, Platforms and Gadgets

Ok, my objectives are, easy to use, mobile, reliable and fast. I also want to not have to convert my Aussie$$ into another country to do the trade and then back to recover profits.

I have chosen Forex to trade with. They have local support, all the standard video's etc that let me do the basic learning and offer a practice account. They have a PC based tool (which seems good, but wont know till I get stuck into it) a Web page for trading, it needs flash but does seem very good and an iPhone app, which I dont like very much.

I have found another iPhone app called ForexOnTheGo which in theory can be hooked up to my Forex account and I could trade via it as a proxy (for free). Its much nicer, better graphs, easier to setup bids and change them, however I will hold of using it unitl I find out how annoying it is to NOT be able to trade from a desktop.
